The in-form Aya Ohori will fancy her chances at HYLO Open 2023 following the withdrawals of top seed Carolina Marin and fourth seed Busanan Ongbamrungphan.
Marin has been replaced by Canadian Talia Ng while Irishwoman Rachael Darragh takes Ongbamrungphan’s spot.
Ohori, whose recent form has seen her win the Asian Games bronze and finish semifinalist at last week’s French Open, is now the highest remaining seed (No.5) in the top half of the draw.
The Japanese faces Swiss youngster Jenjira Stadelmann in the first round.
